D’Vonya has 13 years of experience in the food service industry in a variety of capacities. D’Vonya holds formal training through the Forsyth Technical Community College-Providence Culinary Training Program. She has experience as a food expeditor and cook in venues such as Chilli’s, the Carolina Ale House, Pennybyrn and Mojito Latin Soul Food. D’Vonya served as the Executive Chef at the Marriott Courtyard (Winston Salem) where she was responsible for ensuring the kitchen was clean and up to code, creating new menu options for the restaurant and management/oversight of catering banquets and private events. As an entrepreneur D’Vonya has owned and operated her own successful catering/bartending company.
